Be assured NCUA's actions will not affect the safety of your savings. Member deposits remain protected by the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF). The Share Insurance Fund insures individual accounts up to $250,000, and a member's interest in all joint accounts combined is insured up to $250,000. The Share Insurance Fund separately protects IRA and Keough retirement accounts up to $250,000. The Share Insurance Fund has the backing of the full faith and credit of the United States. Members with questions about their Share Insurance Fund coverage can find more information in the Share Insurance Coverage section of NCUA's MyCreditUnion.gov consumer website.
The credit union will remain open, and services to members will continue.
The NCUA took this action because of safety and soundness concerns which were deemed detrimental to you as members. The NCUA is in the process of addressing the problems we have found. It is our intent to ensure you continue to have the best possible credit union service available to you. Further details will be sent to you in the future months.

Richmond City Employees Federal Credit Union has been open for over 50 years. Membership is open to the City Employees, employees of Morrisson-Reeves Library and Frontier/Verizon employees, and RP&L employees. Membership is also available to immediate family members of an existing member.
Our Credit Union provides a great place for members to bank, save and get loans at reasonable rates.

FCU would never ask for any personal info on-line or through e-mail. Never give your Social Security Number or Credit Card Pin Number to anyone on the phone or through email. If you receive an email and you question it's validity with your account, please call us and verify.

Our home banking is safe, easy and available 24 hours a day from your computer. Several of the features available to you online are:
- Make Credit Union loan payments
- Transfer money from one Credit Union account to another
- Check your account balance
- Print out statements
- Print out copies of your cleared checks
Home Banking Instructions
- Receive your "temporary" password by stopping by the credit union.
- Verify your account number.
- You will need both of these to access your account the first time.
